About the Campground
Killarney Lutheran Camp is located on the shores of Killarney Lake, and is operated by an association of WELS congregations in support of our Children's Summer Camps. We invite you to come and enjoy God's great outdoors in a family-friendly Christian atmosphere in the beautiful Irish Hills.
We "officially" open Memorial Day Weekend and offer our Annual Chicken BBQ on Sunday afternoon. Everyone welcome to come support our camp! Other Events include Pig Roast, and Fall Fest and Winter Snow Fest.
Meet the Camp Manager!
Dan Fuerstenberg is our Maintenance and Camp Manager. He takes care of our property, registers guests for day use and makes camping reservations. Dan is no stranger to Killarney, many of you may know him as Forrest when he worked as a Camp Counselor in our Summer Camps. Dan is a graduate of Oakland University, a former Monroe elementary school teacher, a church board member at Zion Monroe and currently works for his family's business.
Dan is excited to begin his new role at Killarney! Be sure to take a minute to talk with him and hear some camp stories. If you need anything during your visit, he is here to help.
Building Rentals and pavilion use are available. Host your family reunion or church event. Reserve at 517-467-4511. Special group use and other programs also available through our summer camp / programs office at 517-467-7603.

Winter is also a great time at Killarney. Even though our buildings are closed for the season, visitors have enjoyed ice skating and sledding. Reservation only.
